It was indeed a long eventful day! As the door of Purdue's France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center, co-rec, opened at 8 this morning, it also marked the registration for our annual Purdue Cup. Indonesian students from various parts of the Midwest region began to crowd the co-rec to prepare for the games which started at 9 a.m.. In total there are seven teams competing in this year, many whom had spent hours driving to the humble West Lafayette town this weekend.

This year, we had the privilege to hold all three of the sport competitions, badminton, basketball, and soccer, in the 3rd floor of the co-rec and
Turf Recreation Exercise Center for the soccer final match. There are six teams for each competitions, divided into two pools. The teams in their respective pools will compete for the first and second places before they're able to face the teams from the opposing pool in the semifinal and final match.

Aside from being able to mingle and strengthen our friendships with each other while having competitive yet friendly games, today's attendees were also able to indulge themselves in the delicious lunch meal of nasi ayam telur balado + bakwan; or for others who prefer lighter snacks, homemade cheese danish. Priorities were given to those who had pre-ordered, or depending on the availability, for those who missed the pre-order deadline.

The following are the results of each competition:
